FirstLight is About People — Home Care is Not a Career, It’s a Calling
We know your first priority when choosing a home care provider is finding someone you can trust and rely on; Someone who will care for your loved one as you would and as we would our own. We’ve been where you are and this is one of the main reasons we chose to be in this business. Please take a moment to read our many outstanding reviews from Google, Facebook, Care In Homes and AgingCare.com and you will understand why FirstLight HomeCare of Greater Columbus is recognized for the highest quality of care and service as a home care and senior care agency. Meet our team:
Lyndon Christman MHA, and Marianne Christman LPN, CDP, PACIT
Lyndon serves as President of FirstLight Home Care of Greater Columbus and FirstLight Home Care of Licking and Fairfield Counties. He also leads the business development efforts. Marianne serves as the Client Care Coordinator and leads the Community Relations efforts. Marianne is a Certified Dementia Care Practitioner, Positive Approach to Care Certified Independent Trainer and Ageless Grace Trainer.
Both had very successful careers in the health care industry: Lyndon in hospital administration and Marianne in nurse and medical equipment sales. After that, they decided it was time for a change and looked for something they were familiar with where they could make a difference in people’s lives. Both of them have had experience with taking care of family members in their home. They purchased their first FirstLight Home Care Franchise in 2015 and have expanded to service the entire Central Ohio market.
Opening the first Home Care in Dublin, Ohio and quickly expanding to Columbus, Delaware, Newark, Lancaster and Grove City, they realized the growing need for services to help people remain in their homes. They understand firsthand the difficulty of caring for loved ones and the challenges of finding qualified and compassionate resources to help in the home.
Lyndon and Marianne live in Granville, Ohio and have six children, Grant, Bethany, Clint, Aundrea, Sarah and Ira, four grandchildren, Brock, Maxton, Nolan and Lincoln and two dogs, Brutus and Zeke.
