FirstLight Home Care\u2019s Compassionate Memory Care Program is designed to join the journey of
those living with dementia by adapting the overall approach to care. FirstLight\u2019s care professionals
modify communications, tasks, and the environment to ensure those in their care have their best
day, every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Alzheimer\u2019s Association, there are currently 7 million Americans living with
Alzheimer’s. By 2050, this number is projected to rise to nearly 13 million. About 1 in 9 people age
65 and older (10.9%) have Alzheimer\u2019s. The burden on families and care providers is staggering \u2013
over 11 million Americans provide unpaid care for people with Alzheimer\u2019s or other dementias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
