(See \u201cStandard Precautions\u201d____________________________)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">hand-held shower <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">or shower hose to make bathing easier.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">long-handled bath brush <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">to limit reaching. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Folded towels or bath mats to <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">protect your knees <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">if you\u2019re kneeling.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">nonslip mat <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">or tub strips to prevent falls or slips. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Tips<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Keep <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">all your <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">supplies <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(such as shampoos, soaps) <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">nearby <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">so you don\u2019t have to reach as much. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Talk it over<\/b><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You could say this: <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI\u2019ve heard that a shower chair can make taking baths much safer and easier. Some people have had luck asking their doctor for a prescription for a shower chair.\u201d \u00a0or \u00a0\u00a0\u201cI\u2019ve heard from other people that they ask their doctor for a prescription to get a shower chair.
