At FirstLight Home Care of South Jordan, we understand how difficult it can be when someone you love starts needing extra help at home. For our family, caregiving isn’t just a business. It’s something we’ve experienced firsthand.
Ryan grew up helping care for his sister, who has special needs, and saw early on the impact that compassionate support can have on a family. Years later, when Ryan’s father needed more assistance, he moved in with our family and Jamie left her job to become his full-time caregiver. Like many families, we learned how challenging it can be to balance caregiving responsibilities with work, family life, and everything else that demands your attention.
Those experiences are what led us to open FirstLight Home Care of South Jordan. We wanted to create the kind of support we know families need because we’ve been in their shoes ourselves.
Today, we provide in-home care services for seniors, older adults, and individuals living with disabilities throughout South Jordan, Riverton, West Jordan, Herriman, and surrounding communities. Whether your loved one needs companion care, personal care, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, respite care, post-hospital support, or help with everyday tasks, our caregivers are committed to helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.
Every family is different, which is why we believe care should be flexible. Some clients need a few hours of help each week, while others need daily or around-the-clock support. Unlike many home care agencies, we do not require minimum hour commitments, allowing families to get the help they need without paying for care they don’t.
