[<strong>NOTE to CNA&#8217;s<\/strong> and others: <strong>You can skip this step IF<\/strong> you already got live scanned for a senior\/residential care facility (RCFE) or for a child care company].<br \/>\n\u21d2 <strong>Time<\/strong>: 10-20 minutes to get fingerprinted, and usually less than a week to get the results (here is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstlighthomecare.com\/home-healthcare-south-placer-county\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/120\/2024\/01\/Live-Scan-Form-1-2-24-dated-3-21-by-State.pdf\">LIC 9163 &#8211; HCA Live Scan Form<\/a>)<br \/>\n\u21d2\u00a0<strong>Cost<\/strong>: approximately $80<br \/>\n\u21d2\u00a0<strong>Reimbursement<\/strong>: FirstLight will reimburse you after 160 hours of client visits (you must give us the original receipt)<\/p>\n<p>To get Live Scanned, first <strong>Print this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstlighthomecare.com\/home-healthcare-south-placer-county\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/120\/2024\/01\/Live-Scan-Form-1-2-24-dated-3-21-by-State.pdf\">LIC 9163 &#8211; HCA Live Scan<\/a><\/strong> Form and fill it out (it has the FirstLight information already on it).\u00a0 Then bring this form to a Live Scan location.<\/p>\n<p>Some places you can go include <a href=\"http:\/\/www.5starfingerprinting.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Five Star Fingerprinting<\/a> at 6721 Five Star Blvd in Rocklin (<a href=\"tel:(916)%20630-7827\">(916) 630-7827<\/a>) and UPS Stores.\u00a0 If you also need a TB test, you can get a Live Scan and a TB test at the same time at the <a href=\"http:\/\/wellnessmart.com\/live-scan-fingerprinting\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wellness Mart<\/a> at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/300+Harding+Blvd+%23117,+Roseville,+CA+95678\/@38.7515521,-121.2698252,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x809b202152784803:0xa49a63643a246f2d!8m2!3d38.7515521!4d-121.2676365\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">300 Harding Blvd. Suite 117<\/a>, Roseville, (916) 781-2555.\u00a0 Wellness Mart also has a Sacramento location at\u00a0the Arden Town Shopping Center (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/558+La+Sierra+Dr,+Sacramento,+CA+95864\/@38.5750067,-121.3841224,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x809adb0c0bb1d3c7:0x953dff8b34900354!8m2!3d38.5750067!4d-121.3819337\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">558 La Sierra Drive<\/a>).\u00a0 To save you time, Wellness Mart also offers TB tests (see below).<\/p>\n<p><strong>STEP 3<\/strong>: Get a <strong>TB (Tuberculosis) test<\/strong> showing that you are &#8220;negative&#8221; or do not have TB, and bring it to FirstLight.<br \/>\n\u21d2 <strong>Time<\/strong>: 10-20 minutes to get tested, then you have to go back in 3-4 days to get the results (they look at your skin), and that will take 10-20 minutes<br \/>\n\u21d2\u00a0<strong>Cost<\/strong>: $47 at <a href=\"http:\/\/wellnessmart.com\/live-scan-fingerprinting\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wellness Mart<\/a>, similar elsewhere,\u00a0or sometimes you can get it for free through your insurance<\/p>\n<p>To save time, you can go to the Wellness Mart and get live scanned AND TB tested.\u00a0 They&#8217;re just not the cheapest.
