What Are the Advantages of Home Care Versus Senior Care in a Facility?

When it comes to facility care, seniors usually don’t have the same amount of freedom they do in their own homes. With FirstLight Home Care your loved one can stay on their regular routine and be less susceptible to depression that negatively effects their health, which is known to happen with seniors when they enter a care facility.

In many cases, families will contract FirstLight to come to a senior care facility, assisted living or retirement community to provide additional companion care and help with tasks for their loved ones that may not be happening in these establishments. Our caregivers have been known to also run errands, assist your loved one with going to doctors’ appointments and even taking them to their favorite spots.
