FirstLight Home Care of West Suburban Boston is pleased to announce the promotion of Amanda Nalepa from Manager of Staff Development to Director of Staff Development, effective June 29, 2026. Amanda has been an invaluable part of our team for the past 6½ years including the last four years dedicated to Staff Development. Throughout her tenure, she has played a pivotal role in transforming the agency’s recruiting, onboarding, caregiver development, and retention strategies. This promotion recognizes not only her exceptional leadership but also the significant impact she has made on the growth and success of our organization.
In her expanded role, Amanda will continue leading our Staff Development and training team while also taking on a broader strategic focus for caregiver workforce planning. Her new responsibilities include evaluating workforce trends and local market conditions, helping guide recruitment and retention efforts, strengthening caregiver engagement, and supporting the branding and messaging that help FirstLight remain an employer of choice for exceptional caregivers.
