I liked FirstLight so much I&#8217;ve stayed on even after I graduated. Prior to working at FirstLight, I was a pharmacy technician for 10 years and wanted to transition away from the retail industry. I worked with individuals with traumatic\u00a0brain injuries in a group setting and discovered that I liked working with people one-on-one. Once I started working with the senior population I was inspired by hearing their stories and have continued to work with the elderly population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>What&#8217;s something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;ve been to New Orleans six times and feel like it&#8217;s my second home.&nbsp;I&#8217;ve always had an affinity for New Orleans &#8211; my husband and I renewed our vows there for our 10th wedding anniversary!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>What do you like most about what you do at FirstLight Home Care?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I love working with different clients and hearing their stories while helping them.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is the third in a series of interview-style profiles of the hard-working and compassionate Caregivers on the FirstLight Home Care of West Suburban Boston and Boston-Back Bay Caregiver Team.
