Tim Mackin, Owner

Tim Mackin, Owner

Tim Mackin is the owner of FirstLight Home Care, York.  Tim is passionate about providing exceptional companion and personal care services for seniors, new mothers, those recovering from surgery, and anyone who just needs a little assistance.

Before joining the FirstLight family, Tim was a highly successful operations and case warranty manager for a large fleet vehicle services company where he strived in providing exceptional customer service for more than 15 years.  Prior to that, Tim spent more than 20 years in the US Army, retiring as a First Sergeant.  He and his family moved multiple times during his Army career and know first had the impact and importance of having an extended family ready and willing to offer a helping hand.  The need for exceptional companion and personal care services became a priority for Tim and his wife when they were faced with caring for elderly parents several states away.

Understanding that your loved ones have reliable care provided a tremendous peace of mind.  Tim’s appetite to help not only those in need, but fellow veterans and seniors led him to the FirstLight family.  Tim’s hobbies include Major League Baseball and NASCAR.  He and his wife of 20 years, along with 4 of their 5 children live in in York, PA.

Lisa, Manager of Client Care Services

Lisa, Manager of Client Care Services

Lisa comes to First Light with 15 years of medical experience. She graduated from South Central Kentucky Community College, as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Lisa has worked in a variety of healthcare settings ranging from nursing homes to correctional facilities, and hospitals.  Lisa was recently honored with the 2015 Nursing Excellence Award for her contributions to Lee Memorial Health Care System and Golisano Children’s Hospital of South West Florida (Non-profit community based hospital). Lisa was recognized by her colleagues and leaders as an outstanding and dedicated nurse who is compassionate and caring to patients and their families.

Lisa is excited about relocating to Pennsylvania and joining her family where she can utilize her medical expertise to First Light of York, Pennsylvania. As the Manager of Client Care Services, Lisa oversees the home care assessments of clients, originating service plans, and supervises the recruiting, training, scheduling and performance of caregivers. Her passion and dedication is to help and serve our community by providing excellence in patient care and improving the health status in a home setting.

Lisa is married with three children, one grandson and two dogs.  In her free time she enjoys painting and traveling with her family.

Richard

Richard, Networker

Richard comes to First Light with an extensive background in customer service and care.  Prior to joining the First Light team, Richard worked in the Public Safety Industry for the last fourteen (14) years; with the first ten (10) years being directly involved in Public Service.  During his time in Public Safety, Richard was responsible for fostering relationships with customers to provide exceptional services.  He also dedicated many hours of his time for community based events such as the Shop with a Cop program, Memorial Day ceremonies, and the annual Christmas Parade to name a few.

Richard is looking forward to working with the community and bringing the same affinity for customer service in which he provided for the last fourteen years.  As the Networker, he will be responsible for building relationships throughout the community and providing exceptional customer service.

Richard is married to Lisa who is our Care Coordinator; they have three (3) children, one (1) grandchild, and two (2) dogs.  In his spare time, Richard enjoys spending time with his family.  Some of his hobbies and interests are football, weightlifting, and cooking.
