Local Entrepreneur Brings Home Care, Senior Care Services to the Eastside

FirstLight Home Care opens in Kirkland to meet growing need for non-medical home care services

KIRKLAND, WA –  January 25, 2018 – FirstLight Home Care, an award-winning provider of non-medical home care, has announced the opening of its Eastside Seattle location. Local entrepreneur Paul Healy owns the location, which offers home care, companion care and senior care services to residents of Kirkland, Bellevue, Mercer Island, Woodinville and surrounding communities.

FirstLight Home Care of East Seattle serves area seniors, new and busy mothers, those recovering from illness, injury or surgery, and other adults in need of assistance. Highly-trained FirstLight caregivers are available to help with many non-medical needs – from cooking, cleaning and running errands, to mobility assistance and dementia care.

“With the ever-expanding senior population, I believe quality senior home care is a much-needed service in our community,” said Healy. “My goal is to ensure seniors who need assistance are getting the best possible care so that they may live safely and independently in the place they call home.”

“Paul’s desire to build a business that helps people achieve the quality of life they deserve, combined with his previous experience operating a business, make him the ideal person to open FirstLight’s office in East Seattle,” said Jeff Bevis, FirstLight Home Care Chief Executive Officer. “His work will surely have a positive, lasting impact on the clients and communities he serves.”

Since opening its first franchise location in 2010, FirstLight Home Care has experienced steady growth and is now serving or in the process of serving clients in more than 160 locations throughout the U.S.
