Local Resident Opens FirstLight Home Care of Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – (May 7, 2014) — FirstLight Home Care, provider of quality, affordable, non‑medical in-home care for adults, is now open in Schaumburg.

FirstLight Home Care of Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates is owned and operated by local resident Chris Oliver. Located in Schaumburg, FirstLight will service residents living in Cook and Dupage Counties, including Barrington, Bartlett, Bloomingdale, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg and Streamwood.

Prior to opening his FirstLight franchise, Oliver spent 16 years working in Corporate Finance and was a Financial Controller for nine years. Oliver chose to open FirstLight of Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates because he has personally seen the need for in-home care services within his own family, as many of them are either professional caregivers or have stepped into a caregiving role to care for other aging family members. By opening FirstLight of Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates, he is able to impact the community in a positive way, providing them with in-home care services and new employment opportunities.
