Bookkeeper responsibilities include:
- Ensure accurate financial statements monthly and annually
- Manage biweekly payroll administration processes, including mileage and expense reimbursement
- Communicate with employees and clients regarding payroll and billing questions
- Calculate variances from the budget reports
- Take initiative and determine actions to meet goals
The ideal candidate will have:
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- One to three years of related accounting experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks payroll
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Acute attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Ability to effectively manage the demands of the job
