Jane and John Moyer know what good service looks like and feels like. FirstLight Home Care’s Culture of Care is an attitude that applies to those we care for as well as to our caregivers.
Jane comes to FirstLight Home Care with a lifetime of experience in customer service. After staying at home to raise two sons and participate and volunteer in school and athletic functions throughout their school years, Jane entered the business world in real estate sales helping many families make a smooth and rewarding transition into a new home. In 1996 she joined her husband John as office manager/bookkeeper/customer service support in his construction/contracting business. As the business grew, the sons also grew and have taken over the business allowing both Jane and John to pursue a new future in helping others.
After spending all of his professional life in the construction/contracting field, John is the eternal entrepreneur. He has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, and has always said that he is not in the construction business – he is in the service business performing construction operations. This is what has earned him the respect of clients and associates alike. John has been very “hands-on” in the care of both his Mother as she was battling her final days at home, and his Father as he struggles with the stages of Alzheimers. John knows what it takes to put together a great team in order to provide care to others in the same way he continues to care for his family.
