First Light Home Care has provided me with care for almost 1 year usually for one hour once a week -sometimes more. My need is to help my family have a break from routine care they provide me in evenings (due to chronic conditons I am unable … More to do myself) . I appreciate that First Light does not have contracts – only an application and agreements and hourly rates. They work with insurance or self pay.
My current needs include applying lotions, ointments, and powders; putting on Tactile Flexitouch compression garments, general foot care and light housekeeping.
Madi is outstanding. I had not realized how great it can be to have such a wonderful caring person to assist me before I started looking for help. She arrives on time and completes the routine. When there is time left she is glad to do more or chat with pleasant conversation. Madi is professional, friendly and shares good humor. She is a great companion to me who interacts well with family and quickly picks up on how we like or need things done.
Charrla is an outstanding scheduler. She understands the needs of her clients and quickly found a good match for me with Madi.

From assisting with my physical needs to providing genuine emotional support, Brook W. has been outstanding every step of the way. She brings a level of professionalism, compassion, and empathy that truly represents what the medical field should strive for.
