Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care for Family Caregivers
In the last decade, many people have become aware of a usually misunderstood disease/condition called dementia. Many go undiagnosed. And still many of those who have been diagnosed with some form of it still do not understand it completely. And their family members, with all good intentions, try to understand but are sometimes at a loss as how to help their afflicted loved ones.
We have put together videos below, which we hope will help you understand dementia. The videos have suggestions on how you can manage the behaviors that come with it.
The Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care Video Series is a compilation of videos developed by the Multi-campus Program in Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California in Los Angeles.
