I have gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which I really had to stop to look fear in the face and say I must do the things which I thought I couldn't do. I learned it wasn't as hard as it seemed in the end. Being a caregiver can be tough, yet it's a fulfilling role that can be hard for others to understand fully. Caregiving has been a constant learning experience for me. The power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which has had the potential to turn someones life around. There has came a time that someone I loved passed away and it was comforting that I was their caregiver. I can cherish the memories and carry on the things they have taugh me. I love my job and I love each client I have had the opportunity to pour life into. It's pure joy. Thanks FirstLight for guiding me in a new to me new field and helping me grow. -
