Karyl, Agency Manager
Karyl is our Agency Manager and has been with FirstLight HomeCare for nearly 5 years. Karyl has a knack for making the schedule work when no one else can figure it out. It is no doubt she has an eye for detail.
Karyl is originally from the Philippines. She enjoys hiking or running trails; her goal is to complete at least two 14 thousand foot hikes a year and travel to as many countries as possible. Her two favorite things in the world are food and her dog, Cloud. Karyl holds a Bachelor’s in Health Care Administration from Metro State University in Denver.

Lacey Bean, HR Director
Lacey Bean is our HR Director and business partner. From helping to find us qualified caregivers, to creating policy to keep our client’s and caregiver’s safety a priority, Lacey contributes to our team in many ways. Lacey has been working with older adults for nearly the entirety of her career. It all began when she worked at a retail location that catered to baby boomers. Although she’d always loved and got along with her elders well, this was truly the start of her passion for caring for them. After finishing her B.S. in Human Resources Management at Western Kentucky University, Lacey began her professional career working at a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Bowling Green, KY where she gained meaningful and hands on experience. Funnily enough, Lacey left the industry for a stint of 6 months for an opportunity she could not pass up. It was a great role and one she enjoyed, but it did not take long for her to realize that her passion is in the Long-Term Care industry. She returned as quickly as possible and has been working with FirstLight Home Care since 2016. Lacey came to Colorado to fulfill her husband’s (a Colorado native) dream of returning to his homeland. Though she was born and raised closer to the ocean in Florida, she truly loves the mountains and the beauty of nature found along the Front Range.

Andrea Vital, People Ops Coordinator
Andrea is our People Operations Coordinator and has worked with FirstLight Home Care since 2018. Andrea has had many different roles at FirstLight, from starting as a caregiver to assisting Lacey in Human Resources. She is originally from New Mexico but moved to Colorado in 2017. Andrea loves living in Colorado because of its diverse communities and the possibilities of living i a larger city. In her spare time, she enjoys playing racquetball and reading. Andrea is passionate about working at FirstLight Home Care and is excited about bringing on new caregivers and supporting all employees within our organizations.
Adriana Hernandez, Office Coordinator
Adriana is our Office Coordinator and has been working with FirstLight Home Care beginning as a Caregiver since 2020. As a caregiver, Adriana was highly reviewed by her clients and we love that she helps to train all of our caregivers now so that they can all provide excellent care! Adriana has 2 fur babies named Milo and Arlo. They love to go out to the mountains and explore. She has been playing volleyball since 5th grade and has joined the spring team. Above all, she enjoys going out to her grandparents farm and helping them out with the animals.
Jessica Lamos, Scheduling Coordinator
Jessica recently joined the office staff after working as a caregiver. Her experience with her grandpa made her realize that others may not have a family to be there for them, and she could make a difference as a caregiver, which ultimately brought her to our office. She is originally from Colorado and has been married to her husband, Seth, for 1o years. Jessica and her husband have an eight-year-old son named Maxwell and 8 pets, which include 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 guinea pigs. She may have her hands full, but she still finds time to read, garden, and watch true crime shows. We are exited to see Jessica grow into her role as a Scheduler and look forward to supporting her!
Teresa Austin, Care Coordinator
Teresa is our Care Coordinator at FirstLight Home Care. She is a CNA and has worked several roles in the office setting as well as being highly versed in the field for over 23 years. Teresa lives in Thornton and loves to and her weekends practicing self-care and shopping. As a Colorado native, her happy place is being in the mountains every chance she can get. Teresa always finds herself planning her next road trip and hopefully soon getting a fur baby to enjoy the adventures with. For now, Teresa loves spoiling all our other office fur babies when they come for a visit.
