The unexpected is always what surfaces to turn your world upside down. Wife went into the Hospital for 30 days due to breaking her ankle in three places. She has brittle bones so it was and is a hard road then I fell off a retaining wall … More and broke my back and dislocated a disc. Our Daughter moved in and took control realizing that I was the caregiver and her mother was unable to care for herself. She turned to FirstLight and they assessed the situation and provided the healthcare services needed to fill my place. I made it out of the Hospital but in no shape to retake my role. FirstLight has not only filled a needed spot, I had home healthcare insurance and FirstLight assisted us in working that. FirstLight's staff provide the caring, engaged and understanding to care for the wife as we both continue to heal in the slow road to recovery. -

I absolutely love my home health aid (Mrs Shelby ) she has brightend my long days and stressful life . She helps prepare my food for the whole week cleans and vacuums as soon as she in the door after checking and making sure I'm ok … More for 15 minutes.then helps me get ready for a shower and cleans a new spot every time she's her. I absolutely love her 💕 I am so happy with this company and employees .thank you to everyone for all your hard work!!!!!!!!!..here are some pictures of her work today -

Will was clear and compassionate and very very responsive. Our help was Natasha and she was simply outstanding. Kind and compassionate, helpful and supportive, and knowledgeable. With their help we were able to get more rest and feel comfortable in doing so. What we got….. was another brother and sister that we completely trusted with Dad.

My mother is a tough cookie and doesn’t warm to having a constant companion but she LOVES her caregivers Sara and … More Sonya. Misses them in fact when a substitute has to take over for a day. It is a relief to me to know they treat her well and keep her engaged. I highly recommend First Light if your loved one needs help of any kind. They will find a fit. -
