Extraordinary People. Exceptional Care.

Dina Chatwin graduated with a Bachelors from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Boston University. She has experience in mergers and acquisitions, consulting, and government contracts. Dina put her career on hold to raise her three busy daughters. During that time, she was PTO president and sat on multiple political and community boards. When given the opportunity to return the consulting world she felt strongly that she wanted to refocus her attention to serving others while combining her previous business expertise.
Why FirstLight? Dina first came to the home care business as a daughter. Both women have grandmother’s who suffered from Alzheimer’s and had to enter care facilities. When Dina’s mother was going through chemo while battling cancer she fell and had to enter a rehabilitation center that led to a care facility and eventually hospice. While these centers were caring and loving, Dina’s mother kept expressing her desire to “just go home”. In researching if it was even possible for her mother to go home and receive care she found the home health industry. Looking for the best home care and home health company for their families their search led them to FirstLight.
Lindsey Mendenhall graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a Bachelors of Business Management with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship. While she raised four children and went back to school, she owned and operated her own preschool. For ten years she cared for children and helped foster a love of learning before she entered the world of commercial real estate. When Covid hit, she realized she was in a transactional industry and her desire to work and serve in the community grew. Lindsey’s first job, at the age of 16, was in a retirement community and she loved it and learned to value the aging population and what they have to offer. She feels her calling is making people happy. When Dina introduced her to the caring industry of Home Care, she was thrilled to re-enter a service-oriented field.
Why FirstLight Home Care? After spending months vetting various competitors, Lindsey was drawn to the Culture of Care at FirstLight Home Care. It was something special. When she learned about the 7 Touchpoints of Care, her decision was made. THIS is where she is supposed to be to make a difference. She has lived in Centennial, Colorado for 15 years and can’t imagine a better place to raise a family. She is excited to serve her neighbors in her own backyard and would be honored to care for your loved ones.
