This is Christine and her dad. He had recovered from his recent health episode and insisted on going home. She knew he couldn’t manage it on his own. This was not their first roundtrip from home to ER to rehab to home.

So there she was, again, trying to balance it all: caring for an aging father who simply wanted to be home, caring for young children, and maintaining a career she loved as a CMO in the financial services sector.

Homecare was her best compromise. The challenge was finding one that worked for them.

Her father has since passed, but the experience still lingered. This is why she decided to pivot her career and launch a home care agency—dedicated to helping families keep loved ones safe while respecting their desire to be home to age with pride and dignity.

With over 25 years of marketing high-end financial services to the mainline and globally, Christine brings a high-touch, detailed approach to managing and operating FirstLight Home Care of the Main Line.

Lisa Welch, Director of Care

Lisa Welch, Director of Care

Lisa Welch brings over 15 years of senior-focused care to her role as Director of Care at FirstLight Home Care of the Main Line. Her background includes both personal care and community care in a variety of roles including relationship management, program development, and sales and marketing. Having been a caregiver herself, Lisa understands the compassion, respect, persistence, and patience needed to provide the highest quality of life possible for our clients and their families.

As Director of Care, Lisa is responsible for the day to day operations, caregiver management, and client relationship management. She directly interfaces with clients, performance service evaluations, originates service plans, and manages scheduling.

With her varied background and passion for understanding individuals’ needs, Lisa believes in the value of elegant care for individuals in need. She dedicates her free time focusing on engaging the senior community by building specialty programs aimed to support Activity Directors and recreational programs at senior living communities.  In addition, Lisa is a dedicated animal rescuer.
