My inspiration and reason for our FirstLight Launch in Nor-Cal

Meet Marie Perry, born November 7th 1909 in San Francisco California. Her parents were immigrants from France and Germany who met in 1906 amidst the earthquake that nearly destroyed San Francisco.

Marie worked for the City and County of San Francisco for years and was Justin Herman’s personal secretary during the development of the embarcadero in San Francisco.

My personal experience and journey to find the right solution for Marie, led me to the founding of First Light Home Care in Marin, Sonoma and Napa Counties.

Marie is my grandmother, who left us at the age of 106 in April of 2016!!
