My mother had been falling frequently, got hospitalized and needed extra support after returning home. First Light staff provided great support and help while assisting mom. Mom can be challenging to assist, but she felt that the First Light caregivers were responsive, polite and careful in assisting her. Should we need assistance again we will definitely contact First Light for their services.

I have nothing but high praise for FirstLight HomeCare in Marin County. It started with our intake meeting with Veronica. She was patient, attentive, responsive and made my family feel at ease. She responded to emails and questions promptly, even into the evening! We were fortunate enough to be assigned Sai as my mother’s caregiver. I can’t even begin to describe how gentle and compassionate Sai was with my mother. She was also a huge help and relief to my father. She was meticulous in her care of my mother whether it be bathing, changing diapers or feeding her. My father was so at ease and felt comfortable leaving the house which he hadn’t done up till then because he didn’t want to leave my mother. The entire team of FirstLight was amazing. We couldn’t have survived without them.
Amazing, caring and compassionate caregivers at First Light. Several cared for my mother during her final weeks of life. Latina went above and beyond by participating in our family prayers during the final two days. She made my mother feel loved and comfortable. Maria, the director, always responded on time to our requests and constantly communicated with my sister about our mother’s needs. I highly recommend them.

The nursing home shared with me a list of Home Care agencies. The agencies they had recommended had worked with my nursing home in the past. This in itself was reassuring to me.
The attendants arrived on time. Some of the attendants had worked together in the past. Again very reassuring.
I had to make some scheduling changes with Walter and Veronica. They handled it with ease although scheduling can be difficult.

My dad needed some extra help getting around and doing day to day activities. First Light provided us with three outstanding caregivers who cooked, cleaned, made the bed, did laundry, and kept a watchful eye on my father, who has Parkinson’s and normal pressure hydrocephalus. Without First Light, all these duties and more would have fallen completely on me, so it was a relief to get a bit of a break and have the peace of mind of knowing someone was with him. The caregivers were all highly skilled, discreet, and professional; I couldn’t have asked for better in home care!
