The caregivers are very easy to work with and are well trained in their jobs. We had part time, then 24hr … More care as end of life got nearer. Monique also gave me a referral to Hospice which was amazing in taking care of my Mom. I would definitely recommend FirstLight Home Care. They were quick to return calls and flexible with scheduling as our needs changed. -

set up a meeting. After our meeting I was … More very impressed with her knowledge and caring attitude. As time went on Sarah moved back east and along came Charleen and Monique. They are a wonderful support and passionate about their jobs. They truly care about the clients and their needs. I can't say enough nice things about First Light Homecare. I called them on the 23rd of December and said we needed a caregiver to start on the 29th. Monique told me that she and Charleen would take care of it. Not more than an hour … More later. I had the name of the caregiver who would be coming and that by the end of the day I would have the first 2 weeks taken care of. Not only did they keep their promise but came out to my Uncle's home with the caregiver to meet us. My Uncle now has 3 very special ladies that make sure they care for him like he was one of their own. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you just does not seem like it is enough to say!!! -

Special thanks to Beki Darrow and an outstanding team at FirstLight Home Care of Sonoma County my husband and I got to spend 12 relaxing hours with our adult children and six grandchildren while on vacation. Arranging care for our 96 year … More old aunt in Windsor went quickly and with lots of caring from being available on our first choice day on our Windsor vacation, to having a caregiver come to our home in San Francisco to complete the paperwork and most importantly for assigning a patient, compassionate caregiver our Aunt was very comfortable with. [We have used a local caregiving agency three times in two years – and two of the three times did NOT go well. We nearly missed our flight to our nephew's wedding as the first caregiver did not show up. And the second time, thank goodness our son was able to stay with our Aunt 'til a second caregiver arrived THREE HOURS LATE!]
With our first experience at FirstLight – Beki was aware the caregiver would be late; however, she arrived at the designated time to wait for her……DEFINITELY A SIGN OF A TOP NOTCH and EXTREMELY CARING AGENCY!!! We are now very excited that FirstLIght has a team in our San Francisco area, and are looking forward to using their extremely thorough and compassionate services again!!! Nadine -

We have been using FiresLigh Home Care to care for out 101 year old aunt for several months now and we are extremely happy with the quality of care as well as the overall team based aproach to her care. Highly recommended! -
Sarah and her entire team were fantastic! They truly invested the time to understand my Father's situation and took excellent care of him! They were patient, understanding and companionate. -

Not only do I love caring for one of the nicest man I have ever met he has also become a friend. We laugh, chat, eat, n share … More stories together. I am a mother therefore caring for an elderly person is a passion I found in myself when I started this position.
First light has treated me so well in many ways. The schedule we have worked out together has been amazing not only for the client but for me as well. And let’s not forget their company picnics by the ocean….great food, great company, great accommodations to the kids, and great raffle prizes. I won a tv!!! Oh n everybody wins!!! My experience as an employee has been wonderful thanks to the Santa Rosa staff. Charlene and Becki are the best!
One last thing I would say is, I am pretty lucky I met who I am caring for!
