No phone call or text goes unanswered and most importantly, they treat the patient with the utmost respect and dignity. They provide a service that is often difficult and thankless and they do it with grace and kindness, while going above and beyond for their patients. Just on board for 4 days with Barron and his team at FirstLight Home Care (FHC) for services for my mother-in-law, now home from a fall. For 3 hours each day, they provide loving, respectful and insightful assistance as she regains her … More confidence and strength toward self-sufficiency. While she was already able to perform some self-care tasks, they have given helpful and patient assistance with online ordering of groceries and a new mattress, doing laundry, carinf for cats and preparing simple meals. Barron is kind and responsive. Frankie keeps us updated … More on any changes to the care schedule, promptly and professionally. Every care worker has been absolutely wonderful with my grandfather. They are attentive, kind , engage him in conversation and are extremely professional. My grandfather requires near full time care and we have been delighted with each caregiver.
We have worked with Wahita, Aurora, Luke, Amelia, Mona and Dawn as our primary core group.
Each of them feels like family. We feel safe and confident in their abilities and having them here offer a level of comfort we didn’t know we needed.

Our mother, at 94 years of age, could no longer live independently in her own home, and with First Light's assistance, she was … More able to come home to continue her recovery from hospitalization for a broken ankle.
She has several medical conditions requiring diligent attention and we found that Barron's compassionate care, great wit and purposeful management of Mom's needs were exactly what our family had hoped for in her transition from independence to nurtured home care.
Riché, Barron's right hand in the office, was consistently aware of our mother's daily needs, and she scheduled caregivers who she knew could best address those needs. We were always pleased with the staff notes after each day's shifts, so that our family was always aware of changes in Mom's daily activities and general health. My siblings and I are eternally grateful to Linda Ford and her team for the excellent partnership they provided to us for our mother's home care. We researched a number of options, and they were by far the best. Our mom was able to … More live comfortably at home until about six months ago, when she relocated to our state and now lives in a skilled nursing facility. We especially appreciated the professional, yet always warm and caring, dedication of Linda, Sherry, and the various caregivers. Although never an ideal situation, there were able to flexibly make changes to the schedule, sometimes with very short notice. None of my siblings nor I live in AZ, so it brought us incredible peace of mind to know that FirstLight was there for our mother. She had a few medical issues during the time we worked with FirstLight, and they would take her to the hospital and stay with her as long as needed. Our mom grew to love many of the caregivers (and it was mutual!), and it really helped her stay engaged socially and mentally to have them not only provide necessary care, but also chat and keep her connected with the outside world. Barron went above and beyond, handling paperwork and the co-pay, and kept us apprised of what was happening Even sent us a picture of the two of them at the dr's office! What a relief to have complete confidence that our vulnerable family member was in the best of hands!

My siblings and I are eternally grateful to Linda Ford and her team for the excellent partnership they provided to us for our mother’s home care. We researched a number of options, and they were by far the best. Our mom was able to live comfortably at home until about six months ago, when she relocated to our state and now lives in a skilled nursing facility. We especially appreciated the professional, yet always warm and caring, dedication of Linda, Sherry, and the various caregivers. Although never an ideal situation, there were able to flexibly make changes to the schedule, sometimes with very short notice. None of my siblings nor I live in AZ, so it brought us incredible peace of mind to know that FirstLight was there for our mother. She had a few medical issues during the time we worked with FirstLight, and they would take her to the hospital and stay with her as long as needed. Our mom grew to love many of the caregivers (and it was mutual!), and it really helped her stay engaged socially and mentally to have them not only provide necessary care, but also chat and keep her connected with the outside world. Linda and her team truly care, and they often thanked us for our involvement, which we appreciated. They were patient with our many calls, texts and questions. They were amenable to suggestions and proposed changes. It felt like we were all on the same page with one goal. If you are seeking care of a relative or friend who needs compassionate, qualified home care, please take this as the highest recommendation.

I cannot say enough in praise of the staff and caregivers at First Light Home Care of Sun City, Arizona. Our mother, at 94 years of age, could no longer live independently in her own home, and with First Light’s assistance, she was able to come home to continue her recovery from hospitalization for a broken ankle.
She has several medical conditions requiring diligent attention and we found that Barron’s compassionate care, great wit and purposeful management of Mom’s needs were exactly what our family had hoped for in her transition from independence to nurtured home care.
Riché, Barron’s right hand in the office, was consistently aware of our mother’s daily needs, and she scheduled caregivers who she knew could best address those needs. We were always pleased with the staff notes after each day’s shifts, so that our family was always aware of changes in Mom’s daily activities and general health. Again, Riché’s staffing abilities were exceptional and so appreciated.
Communication, scheduling, staffing and billing were clear and timely. Caregivers were supportive and truly made it possible for Mom to remain at home as her ankle healed. She enjoyed their care and company, and felt that she had her own “Team” cheering her on.

We’re so thankful that her nursing facility recommended that we use FirstLight Home Care to accompany her to a post-hospital dr’s visit. Barron went above and beyond, handling paperwork and the co-pay, and kept us apprised of what was happening Even sent us a picture of the two of them at the dr’s office! What a relief to have complete confidence that our vulnerable family member was in the best of hands!
