Barron Hodges, Owner

Barron Hodges is the President of Hodges Hanei Corporation, the parent company of FirstLight Home Care of Sun City. With over 25 years of experience as a Sales Executive, he has developed deep expertise in account and territory management, client satisfaction, market analysis, and business needs assessment.

In 2018, Barron purchased a FirstLight franchise and led it through exponential growth, particularly during the challenges of 2021–2023. His entry into entrepreneurship was inspired by a family tragedy in 2017, which ignited a personal passion for caring for others and providing meaningful support to families in need. He is extremely hands on and understands that rolling up his sleeves is required in a 24/7 environment. Barron is dedicated to building teams members that deliver exceptional service while driving operational excellence through process improvement, financial analysis, and leadership development.

Outside of work, Barron enjoys outdoor cycling and adventure-seeking with his wife, Yoko, pursuits that reflect his energy, resilience, and love for life.

Francisca Figueroa, Operations Manager

Francisca has been connected to the medical field since she was 13 years old, inspired by her sisters who all work in healthcare. Her journey began by volunteering at a local clinic, later serving as a Health Educator in Vista CA, where she worked with teen moms and gained valuable experience in medical coding.
Her professional background includes certifications in Medical Assisting, Phlebotomy, Patient Care, and Clinical Administration. She also has worked extensively as a Med Tech and Caregiver in assisted living, memory care, and hospice settings, where she has provided both direct care and clinical support. Her roles have included medication management, wound care, coordinating with physicians, supporting hospice staff, and assisting families during some of life’s most difficult transitions.
Along the way, she realized that caregiving is more than a job—it is a calling. Through years of service, she has witnessed the love, pain, joy, and struggles that families face. These experiences have shaped her into a compassionate caregiver who serves not only with skill, but with heart.
Today, Francisca bring a strong work ethic, medical training, and a deep sense of compassion to every role she take on. Her goal is to continue growing in the medical field, with a vision of one day becoming a nurse. Her heart belongs to caring for others.
