Nina Oh - Owner
I was born in Osaka, Japan and grew up in Berkeley, California in a family where elders were honored and deeply cared for. Some of my fondest memories are of spending time with my grandparents, aunts, and uncles—listening to their stories, learning from their wisdom, and simply being present with them. I was raised in a home that valued both medical and holistic approaches to mental and physical health, which shaped the way I see care: as something that supports the whole person, not just their condition.
I went on to study at UCLA as a World Arts and Culture major, and worked with children and adults with developmental and physical disabilities. That experience taught me the importance of empathy, patience, and meeting people exactly where they are. Later, I entered the corporate world and stayed there for years until an unexpected layoff became a turning point. It pushed me to ask myself what I truly wanted to do, and the answer was clear—I wanted to build something that aligned with my heart and help people in a real, tangible way.
Every day, I feel grateful to do work that is both personal and purposeful. My hope is to provide care that feels like family—rooted in respect, compassion, and a genuine desire to make life a little easier and more joyful for those we serve.

With 25 years of senior care leadership experience in Austin, Houston and San Antonio, I have learned that two priorities must exist to establish trust with residents, patients and families. The same priorities apply to engagement with those committed to providing the care.
