First Light took very … More good care of my Mother. She was treated with respect, dignity and humor. I’m not sure how I could have coped had it not been for the ladies who cared for her. There was no one else in my family to share the responsibility and I was dubious about hiring someone until I saw how well she was cared for. I stayed with them for the first month or so to make sure that her care was what it should be. I was there daily throughout the rest of her life. They made a big impact on Mama & me.

My mother was hospitalized with congestive heart failure and the only way the doctors would release her to go home was with round the clock care…. on a Saturday. Jeff had someone … More in place by Sunday and they were able to supply people 24/7 until my mother passed away a little over 2 months later.
Highly recommend them and again, cannot say enough about Jeff (owner) and Michele. -
First Light Home Care provided excellent caregivers to stay with my Mom. Jeff, Isilda and Amy are very professional and were very prompt with scheduling questions or updates about my Mom’s care. First Light home health care is hands down the most caring, loving, patient and helpful home health care business there is in Atlanta. They listened to every concern and worry I had and had it covered from the get go. I don't live … More in Atlanta and when my mom was sick they took every worry I had away about my mom being taken care of. The nurses were amazing and we got to know all of them very well. When she was hospitalized his nurses would stay with her at the hospital too. Jeff came by and made sure everything was ok and if we needed anything else. I could call or text any one of them anytime if the day it night and they would respond to let me know how my mom was doing. One day one of the nurses was involved in a wreck and was going to be late getting to my moms house if at all. Jeff Duren, the owner, came to my mom's house and sat with her until a nurse could get there so she would not be by herself. That meant so much to my sister and I since we both lived out of town. They were available all hours and quickly got back to us if we left a message. First Light took the stress of my mom being sick and not being able to be there all the time away. We never had a worry with them and when she passed away they were there for us and checked on us in the weeks to follow. Jeff, Michelle and his nurses went above and beyond many times without being asked. My mom LOVED the nurses as well as, Jeff and Michelle. The love and compassion they showed us is priceless! I will be forever grateful to all of them.
