I didn’t think I was ready for home care until I finally gave it a try with FirstLight. Jennifer helps me in every way and I no longer rely on friends & family for assistance. They are now relieved of the caregiving role and tasks, and I don’t feel guilty for leaning on them for help. Jennifer has been with me daily since January and she is truly a gem. She takes care of so much, from laundry to taking my dog to daycare to chaperoning my showers to styling my hair to putting meals together for me. And more. Hope and Kim are exceptional caregivers to my aunt, who has advanced dementia. They are consistently patient, calm, and attentive, and they respond quickly and appropriately to her needs. Their approach reflects both skill and genuine respect for the person they are caring for.

My 93 year old mother dislocated and fractured her shoulder. After a success operation and a skilled nursing home, a month later she returned home. We selected First Light after numerous recommendations. It’s been almost 6 weeks and the First Light caregivers have been great. Melinda has been a Godsend for my mom. After a hospitalization Mom needed lots more care with everything from feeding to bathing to remembering her meds.
