I have spent years try to find a caregiver who will provide for my husband who has dementia. I have very specific needs for him which are crucial for his brain health maintenance at this already compromised level. Most importantly, he needs to exercise, blood to brain if you will. That’s why it’s been such a struggle for me. When I reach the point where I am having to supervise so closely to see that he does get his needs met, that’s when I move on.
