Olivia Kent - Owner, Director of Operations
My journey has always been defined by a passion for helping others, which began long before I earned my degree. A proud IU-Bloomington grad, I knew I always wanted to be working in a space where I was investing in others. I got my start as an HR generalist where I received my Senior Certified Professional credentials from the Society for Human Resources Management. This role trained me up in all things employee benefits, insurance and wellness programming for staff.
While I valued my time in that field, I felt a calling for a change that allows me to make a direct and eternal impact to those I work with and serve. Home Care can be misunderstood, with most assuming it thrives only in the elder care space. I am a mom to two littles and I see the need for caregivers also stepping into the hustle and bustle of family life to offer respite with the tasks that can often create more stress in the home – cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. I am so fortunate for my village of support when it comes to establishing my little legacy at home and I want to ensure that other parents can do the same, with an extra helping hand.
Beyond my career, I am devoted to my family—my husband and two kids – who bring joy to every aspect of my life. Meaningful work and a rich personal life are not mutually exclusive, but are all interconnected to create a fulfilling life. I love to spend my free time thrifting, cooking, gardening and participating in church activities.

Christi Sculthorp, Community Liaison
I spent several years of my career working as an Account Representative for a Clinical Lab, interacting with physician offices and their teams daily. I enjoy customer service and found my passion because of both my dad and brother being in the field. Most recently in July of 2026, I became the Community Liaison with FirstLight. Being in this role means I can share my story every day. Both of my parents became very ill and my brother and I were never told about home care. I know we would have taken advantage of the assistance if we had known what was available. It is very stressful for families to have someone ill or needing assistance and not knowing where to turn. If we had known about a company like FirstLight, it would have made the experience less overwhelming. I am grateful to be able to tell my story and help other families understand what support is available to lighten the load. We want to make a difference in the lives of many and I am thrilled to be a part of it.
