Olivia Kent - Owner, Director of Operations
My journey has always been defined by a passion for helping others, which began long before I earned my degree. A proud IU-Bloomington grad, I knew I always wanted to be working in a space where I was investing in others. I got my start as an HR generalist where I received my Senior Certified Professional credentials from the Society for Human Resources Management. This role trained me up in all things employee benefits, insurance and wellness programming for staff.
While I valued my time in that field, I felt a calling for a change that allows me to make a direct and eternal impact to those I work with and serve. Home Care can be misunderstood, with most assuming it thrives only in the elder care space. I am a mom to two littles and I see the need for caregivers also stepping into the hustle and bustle of family life to offer respite with the tasks that can often create more stress in the home – cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. I am so fortunate for my village of support when it comes to establishing my little legacy at home and I want to ensure that other parents can do the same, with an extra helping hand.
Beyond my career, I am devoted to my family—my husband and two kids – who bring joy to every aspect of my life. Meaningful work and a rich personal life are not mutually exclusive, but are all interconnected to create a fulfilling life. I love to spend my free time thrifting, cooking, gardening and participating in church activities.

Jen Bilby - Business Development Manager
Jen Bilby brings 30+ years of health care experience to FirstLight Home Care. Starting out as a caregiver in her late teens, she truly wants to help seniors stay in their home by providing that helping hand we all need sometimes. Jen understands the importance of caregiving as she became one for her own dad when he was diagnosed with dementia. Through a caregiving role, she has developed a special compassion for the families of our clients. Jen has also worked as an Activity Director, CNA, QMA & Business Office Manager – never leaving her passion for caring for seniors.
In her spare time, Jen enjoys running 5Ks. She does at least one per month. The proud mom that she is, she is always ready to watch her son play in the marching band at his college. When not busy, she enjoys spending quality time with friends and family.
