FirstLight Home Care of Northern Colorado is proud to announce our accreditation with the Joint Commission!
The Joint commission Standards “develop strategies to address the most complex issues and identify key vulnerabilities in the patient care experience. Developed with input from health care professionals, providers, consumers, and other experts, the standards ensure a comprehensive review of … patient care process.”2
A 2022 study revealed that “Year-over-year, Joint Commission-accredited [agencies] deliver stronger outcomes…home care [agencies] continued to demonstrate superior performance when compared to their peers who are not accredited by The Joint Commission. This result remained consistent across a broad range of process and outcome measures in each of the three years of the study.”1
