Home Care is Not a Career, It’s a Calling
We know your first priority when choosing a home care provider is finding someone you can trust and rely on… someone who will care for your loved one as you would, and as we would our own. We’ve been where you are, and this is one of the main reasons we chose to be in this business.

Lindsey Combs, Executive Director
Lindsey has been with FirstLight Home Care of Fort Collins and Greeley, CO since right after the doors opened in September of 2015. Lindsey has worked in the health field since she graduated high school. First, she got her CNA license and worked at a local nursing home, where she found a love for the elder community. Shortly after, she was offered a position at Banner health in Greeley at NCMC. Lindsey spent 10+ years working all over the hospital as well as floating to rehab centers, psychiatric care, nearby hospitals for floor care, and staffing these facilities. Lindsey continued to work for Banner all the way through nursing school, where she completed her LPN and EMT certifications. As a native to CO, not only is she the Executive Director of FirstLight, she keeps busy raising her 4 children (Preston, Noah, River, and Tymbur) with her husband Adam.

Throughout her nursing career she had practiced across diverse healthcare settings. Kellan Burkholder, Office Assistant
My name is Kellan and I have been in the business of care since I was 16. My first jobs were in preschool and daycare. I have always had a passion for caring for others. As soon as I turned 18, I went to school and got my CNA license. I have been doing CNA work for 6 years until I had my daughter in 2023 and son in 2025. My kids are my absolute favorite thing, I spend every moment I have with them and my husband going on trips and being outside. I enjoy live music and am learning to crochet. While I love bedside care, I would really love to get into the business side of employee benefits and insurance. In pursuit of that goal I am in school for business administration and HR.
