September is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. For over 14 years, Hearthside Home Care has been providing respite and in-home care for those with Alzheimer’s Disease and for their families.
Hearthside is committed to preserving the unique skills and abilities of each individual client, thereby meeting each client at his or her point of need.
Family is important to everyone, and therefore, we are committed to preserving a sense of family and providing ongoing family support. Family members and friends are encouraged to remain actively involved as much as possible in their loved one’s care. Hearthside offers ongoing support to families to help them understand and cope with the needs and changes of their loved one.
We call this approach to our philosophy the Special Companion Program. Hearthside provides the individual with Alzheimer’s and their family with what all of us need: love, compassion and respect.
