Happy Healthy New Year in 2018 from Hearthside Home Care!

First, to your physical health, here are a few suggestions to help put a damper on various inflammation types –

  • Preventing bloating and irritable bowel – eliminate emulsifiers from your diet
  • Alzheimer’s prone – eat up on healthy fats, yes! For your brain health
  • Lowering heart disease risk – eat more nuts
  • Gum disease & prevention- use an aloe vera rinse
  • Reducing breast cancer risk- keep off extra weight, and consume extra Vitamin D
  • Prone to asthma attacks – switch from drinking wines to drinking cocktails
  • Management of arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis – watch out for the wheat gluten in your diet

And now, the big one – meditation every day for 5 to 15 minutes has been found to reduce inflammation anywhere in the body.

And, here’s to your happiness:

  • Practice self-care, frequently.
  • It’s not how much stress we have, but how well we manage stress that really matters
  • Identify your healthful relationships with various people in your life
  • Maintain some close connections. Can be one or two. We don’t necessarily need to have gobs and gobs of connections. Define the meaning of ‘friend’ for ‘You’
