Choosing the right home care service is one of the most important decisions you’ll have to make when your loved one is dying. My husband came home to hospice in critical condition. He had end-stage lung, brain and spine cancer. The moment I heard Ladi’s voice on the phone, I connected with her. Her staff was wonderful, no exaggeration. They took care of him, talked to him, kept him comfortable, and sat with me when I needed it. They did laundry and cleaned my kitchen when I was able to do little in my grief. They hugged and cried with me. (Special call out to Maria) They were good caregivers, but not just clinical. On time, empathetic, kind, and gentle. Thank you to all the caregivers at First Light.
Our mom has been using FirstLight Home Care of Lakeland, FL for some time now. Her caregiver has been so tolerate of moms moods. She also has been is mom’s driver and companion to go to salon, grocery shopping and anything else mom needs. Mom says they are close and that they share personal secrets and support each other. Look no where else. Ladi and Gasper are first rate and top shelf all the way. All caregivers were so caring and so patient with my wife who has dementia.

We first met Ladi & Gaspar, the owners, when we needed assistance with care for my mother. They were the most compassionate and caring caregivers we met. We knew immediately they would be the only ones we wanted heading up my mother’s care. They treated her like she was a member of their family. Even now, after my mother has passed away, they still call and check on my father and see how our family is doing. When looking for someone to care for a loved one, you only want the best care. First light was wonderful with mom they are flexible and have a lot of compassion for mom they are a Christian based home care and they pray every morning for mom they are there for you at any time for appointments, meals , anything you could need for your loved one they treat you like family. It’s great knowing Mom is getting good care while we are at work. My wife and I work a full time job and it’s hard to keep up with everything, while making sure mom is safe at home.
