Without First Light, all these duties and more would have fallen completely on me, so it was a relief to get a bit of a break and have the peace of mind of knowing someone was with him. She responded to emails and questions promptly, … More even into the evening! We were fortunate enough to be assigned Sai as my mother's caregiver. I can't even begin to describe how gentle and compassionate Sai was with my mother. She was also a huge help and relief to my father. She was meticulous in her care of my mother whether it be bathing, changing diapers or feeding her. My father was so at ease and felt comfortable leaving the house which he hadn't done up till then because he didn't want to leave my mother. The entire team of FirstLight was amazing. We couldn't have survived without them. -
FirstLight caregivers were consistently compassionate and reliable. They knocked themselves out to make sure my 95 year old mother remained safe from falls and were good company during her recovery from a stroke. -
The nursing home shared with me a list of Home Care agencies. The agencies they had recommended had worked with my nursing home in the past. This in itself was reassuring to me.
The attendants arrived on time. Some of the attendants had … More worked together in the past. Again very reassuring.
I had to make some scheduling changes with Walter and Veronica. They handled it with ease although scheduling can be difficult.
My family member received the needed care. I am grateful that First Light helped me through this stressful time.
