From the owners, Lola and Kola, to each member of their team of caregivers, there is a firmly established culture of compassion, warmth, and kindness, on top of very sound medical and technical skills. Each … More member of their staff takes a sincere interest in the clients that they are caring for. They go the extra mile to assimilate into the clients home, quickly learning preferences, communicating effectively with other family members, even snuggling and caring for my beloved pets. I am able to feel safe and secure in my own home, and am able to focus much more on strengthening, stretching and just getting my life back to normal. I truly count myself fortunate to have had FirstLight Home Care referred to me. My caregiver is someone who I count as a friend, not just someone going through the motions for a paycheck-truly a special person! -
As someone who values their independence, I never imagined I would need extra help at home, and was honestly nervous about it at first. FirstLight McKinney made the entire experience feel comfortable and reassuring. My caregiver was patient, … More dependable, and so genuinely kind. She helped me with everyday tasks, but more importantly, she treated me with dignity and respect. It brought me and my family so much peace of mind knowing I had someone I could truly trust. -
