I was referred to First light by Victoria Archable who was helping my sister and me find ari g resources for our ninety-one year old mother. Nootan Pradhan, the owner,, arranged a meeting with my mother and me, and also brought along … More a potential caregiver, thus creating a sense of familiarity for my mother.
While we had used other companies in the past, this was the first time that the owner had come to meet my mother. I appreciated that to no end. Now here was someone who had a feel not only for my mother but for the environment my mother lived in. Nootan also came to my mother’s house to be present when my mother met a second caregiver.
Nootan staffed my mother’s care with diligence and showed sensitivity to what my mother needed. Nootan also listened attentively to feedback that we offered.
We only stoped using her services when we moved my mother to an assisted are community.

The level of disability that rendered my sister unable to care for herself required a level of dedication to her exceeding normal care. That’s where Nootan’s team came to our aid with sleeves rolled up and they exceeded the expectations. There were times I called outside the usual and normal parameters. I would have understood if the calls were not answered. However, not only were the calls answered, they were responded to in a matter that went beyond business dealings into the realm of wonderful blessings.
My sister’s primary caregiver was an angel who bonded so well with her. That was a blessing indeed!

I was referred to First light by Victoria Archable who was helping my sister and me find ari g resources for our ninety-one year old mother. Nootan Pradhan, the owner,, arranged a meeting with my mother and me, and also brought along … More a potential caregiver, thus creating a sense of familiarity for my mother.
While we had used other companies in the past, this was the first time that the owner had come to meet my mother. I appreciated that to no end. Now here was someone who had a feel not only for my mother but for the environment my mother lived in. Nootan also came to my mother’s house to be present when my mother met a second caregiver.
Nootan staffed my mother’s care with diligence and showed sensitivity to what my mother needed. Nootan also listened attentively to feedback that we offered.
We only stoped using her services when we moved my mother to an assisted are community.

The level of disability that rendered my sister unable to care for herself required a level of dedication to her exceeding normal care. That’s where Nootan’s team came to our aid with sleeves rolled up and they exceeded the expectations. There were times I called outside the usual and normal parameters. I would have understood if the calls were not answered. However, not only were the calls answered, they were responded to in a matter that went beyond business dealings into the realm of wonderful blessings.
My sister’s primary caregiver was an angel who bonded so well with her. That was a blessing indeed!

We have used FirstLight for my aging mother’s care for about 1.5 years now. We have been through 2 other senior care services and a multitude of private individual caregivers and the level of care provided by FirstLight is leaps and bounds above all of them! The owner, Nootan, is not only professional and pleasant, but also extremely accommodating. She keeps close tabs on my mother’s daily care and has worked diligently to provide additional care in emergency situations. Mom’s daily caregiver, Simone, is phenomenal! She is relentlessly diligent in all of the items we request of her. She is patient in nature and knows the ins and outs of elder care. We have truly come to love her as has our mother. The services provided by First Light Home Care was amazing. My mother suffered a pretty catastrophic stroke and her recovery would not have been possible without the support of the aide provided by FirstLight Home Care. Both the company and the aide were prompt in their responses and needs related to the care for my mother. The turnaround time from contacting FirstLight Home Care to start of service was under 72 hours which was pivotal during a very stressful time. I cannot speak highly enough of the support provided and how vital it was in my mother’s recovery.
Firstlight Home Care is a necessary imperative for every assistant living and memory care facility. Our care giver is provided through this service and she is hands down the best in this specialty. The care and sincere thoughfulness for my father has caused him to come alive again! She goes the extra mile and operate in such excellence. The VA pays for some caregiver support for my Father. Over the last 3 years, we have been sent to work with 5 or 6 agencies and had easily a dozen different caregivers. None are even close to Firstlight. From their initial meeting and the materials they left behind, it was clear that Firstlight tiers above the other agencies we had worked with prior. Each of the caregivers we have had since going with Firstlight also demonstrate professionalism and genuine concern than the others.
