Wanda is truely, an exceptional find. She likes her work and it shows in everything she does. Shje arrives on time and stays the full,3 hours. She cleans exceptionlly well and is very through. She uses supplies sparingly and carefully. She runs errands for me (I no longer drive) and wastes no time. There have been no personal phone calls. She is polite and friendly, especially when someone stops by. She is an exscellent helper!
We just finished home health services with First Light. Our experience with them was great. FirstLight has been AWESOME! After a terrible visit at Advent Health, my Mom was discharged home in horrible condition. My Dad and I needed help immediately, and they are snowbirds, so the situation got to be complicated with insurance and so forth. Mark (owner/operator) had us in-home care WITHIN 24 HOURS! He’s rearranged schedules, has been so flexible and has checked in numerous times!
We needed her ready to fly home to NY in 6 days, we have 2 left…I think we’ll make it! THANK YOU MARK/CARMEN (our GREAT! HHA) 🤩🫶

The home health aides we employed were just lovely people and helpful in all sorts of ways — personal hygiene for sure — but also great cooks serving up homemade nutritious food and making sure the home stayed tidy as well. They were on time and made life just
so much better in so many ways.
They are AMAZING. My dad’s aid has helped the whole family. She understands my parents have never had help before and she has adapted and blended into the background, taking care of what she knows they can no longer do and not taking my dad’s dementia-related outbursts. She remembers things like he shouldn’t cross his legs when sitting, and is on it, constantly. She really does treat him like she would her own loved one. Caring for a loved one with dementia is especially hard, and without her I don’t think we could keep dad at home where everyone wants him. Thank you for what you do.

We can’t speak highly enough of the care provided to our mother by FirstLight Home Care. Our mom is in a wheel chair and needs a lot of help. The staff at her assisted living facility quit after a change in management. No one was helping her. We called FirstLight and they came to the rescue. Amazingly they were able to send an aide that very day! We got frequent updates and any concerns we had were promptly addressed. They really were wonderful and we are very grateful.
