In-Home Care Services Throughout Northern Kentucky
We know your first priority when choosing a home care provider is finding someone you can trust and rely on… someone who will care for your loved one as you would, and as we would our own. We’ve been where you are, and this is one of the main reasons we chose to be in this business.

Tyler Hardin, Owner
Tyler is the owner of FirstLight Home Care’s Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky franchises. Born and raised in Greater Cincinnati, Tyler has dedicated more than a decade to helping local families receive compassionate, dependable care. He remains actively involved in daily operations, supporting his team and helping ensure that clients and their families feel valued, heard, and cared for.
Before owning FirstLight, Tyler worked in orthopedic sales and spent 14 years coaching varsity football. His desire to help others took on a deeply personal meaning in 2015, when his grandmother suffered a fall that broke her leg, back, and hip. His family wanted her to remain safe at home, but balancing work and other responsibilities made it difficult to provide the support she needed.
Bringing caregivers into his grandmother’s home was a difficult decision, and Tyler understands firsthand the trust it requires. The two caregivers his family welcomed treated her with love, patience, dignity, and compassion. Their care gave his grandmother the support she needed and his family the reassurance and breathing room they desperately needed. That experience inspired Tyler to become a FirstLight owner and offer other families the same comfort and peace of mind.
Since 2015, Tyler has brought that personal understanding to his leadership. He takes pride in being a present, engaged owner, with an active role in operations, caregiver selection, and supporting the families FirstLight serves. He understands the uncertainty that can accompany choosing care for a loved one and approaches those conversations with empathy and respect.
For Tyler, home care is more than a business-it is a commitment rooted in his own family’s experience. His grandmother’s caregivers continue to inspire the standard of care he strives to provide care that preserves dignity, builds trust, and treats every client like family.

Christyna Clayton, LPN, Co-Owner, Operations
Christyna has been a nurse since 2012, and early in her career, she discovered a true passion for caring for older adults. She spent years working as a field nurse in home health and as a floor nurse in assisted living before advancing into a Director of Nursing role. After many years in leadership, Christyna made the decision to step away from nursing to focus on her family. Although her career took a different direction for a time, her passion for caring for others never left her.
In 2021, Christyna joined FirstLight Home Care in a nurse case management role. Her dedication, compassion, and commitment to providing exceptional care quickly opened the door to operations and leadership. Today, she proudly serves as a co-owner of FirstLight Home Care.
Christyna is deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of FirstLight, working closely with caregivers, coordinating care, supporting clients and families, and building relationships throughout the community. She believes that great care goes beyond completing a task or following a care plan—it is about treating every person with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Christyna has always challenged herself to do bigger and better things, and she brings that same drive and determination to FirstLight. She takes great pride in her team and in the opportunity to serve the individuals and families who trust FirstLight with their care.
For Christyna, FirstLight is more than a business—it is personal. She believes quality care starts with truly listening, building trust, and taking the time to understand each client as an individual. Her goal is for every client and family to feel valued, supported, heard, and confident knowing they are in caring and capable hands.

Samantha Morgan, Onboarding & Training Director, Human Resources (HR) Manager
Samantha brings warmth, dedication, and a genuine love for people to everything she does at FirstLight Home Care — and it shows in every interaction she has with caregivers, clients, and families alike.
With an Associate’s Degree in Business and a Certificate in Automated Office Skills, Samantha spent many years serving her community in restaurant management, rising to the role of District Manager. That experience sharpened her leadership instincts, her eye for operations, and her deep belief that every person — whether a customer, an employee, or a client — deserves to feel valued and seen.
After her children were grown, Samantha followed a dream to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, where she found peace in the beauty of the mountains and built a new chapter as a short-term property manager. But her love for family and community eventually called her back home to Kentucky — and back to a career rooted in purpose.
When she is not advocating for caregivers or welcoming new team members through the door, you will find Samantha exactly where she loves to be most — surrounded by family. Football season is her favorite time of year. Come fall, the Morgan household fills up every Sunday with the sounds of the game, the smell of pumpkin spice coffee, and the kind of laughter that only comes from the people you love most. A proud Bengals fan through and through, she believes there is nothing better than gathering your people and cheering together — a feeling not so different, she will tell you, from what she gets to experience at work every day.
When the opportunity to join FirstLight Home Care arose, Samantha stepped into a world she had never worked in before. What she discovered surprised her. Sitting across from clients, listening to their stories, and embracing their journeys changed something in her. “I had no idea how rewarding this work would be,” she says. “I didn’t realize how much of an impact they would make on me.”
Now going on five years with FLHC, Samantha leads the Human Resources, Onboarding, and Training Department — working every day to ensure that the caregivers who walk through the door are not only prepared for the work ahead, but truly connected to the mission behind it. She believes that everyone has a love language, and that great care — whether it’s for a client, a caregiver, or a team — starts with understanding how people need to be shown that love.
For Samantha, showing up is everything. Showing up for a community that needs a helping hand. Showing up to listen. Showing up to make someone’s best day possible. It is, she will tell you, one of the most rewarding things she has ever done.
“Caring is our calling” — and for Samantha Morgan, that has never felt truer.

Daphney Clayton, Scheduling Manager
Daphney has been part of the FirstLight Home Care team since 2024, beginning her journey with the company as a caregiver before stepping into her current role as Scheduling Manager. Her experience on both sides of the organization has given her a unique perspective and a genuine understanding of the importance of quality care, dependable caregivers, and strong relationships with clients and their families.
Daphney truly believes that working with FirstLight Home Care is her calling. She enjoys being able to make a difference not only in the lives of clients, but also in the lives of the caregivers she works with. In her role as Scheduling Manager, she especially enjoys training caregivers, coordinating introductions, building relationships with her team, and getting to know both caregivers and clients on a personal level. She believes that creating the right connection between a caregiver and a client is an important part of providing exceptional care.
Outside of work, Daphney is a proud mother of five and is preparing to marry her fiancé in October 2026. She is a dedicated sports mom and cheer mom, supporting two of her children in their activities. She is also a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan and enjoys spending time with her family whenever she can.
Daphney takes pride in the work she does and is passionate about continuing to grow with FirstLight Home Care. She hopes to continue making a positive impact through compassionate care, strong relationships, and a commitment to both her clients and her caregivers.
