We have been clients of FirstLight for about 5 months and with our current caregiver Jaden for a little over a month. Jaden has been fantastic! She is great at communicating schedule needs, letting me know how the day went, and ensuring … More all the regular house chores are completed. She is very attentive to Mr. HC and I’m able to concentrate at work knowing he is being well cared. Being a primary caregiver isn’t easy and I’m very thankful to have Jaden as a part of “my team.” Mr. HC also enjoys Jaden’s company, even though his health hasn’t been the best since they’ve met she has helped him take a shower more regularly, and he is much more engaged on the days she has been able to come see him. When asked if he likes having Jaden over he always gives an enthusiastic “yes” and today when asked what he likes about her he said “everything!” -

Kennedy is a horse person. Rich was raised in Maderia OH and rode horses most of his youth. That connection alone made the transition to respite care and someone else in our home, easy for Rich! They are true friends and companions.
Kennedy has been a blessing to me as well. Not only do I feel confident that Rich is safe with her, while I am away. But she is so helpful in completing household tasks.
If we ever do not need Kennedy’s respite care, i have gained a kind friend forever. -
Melanie has been with us for several weeks and has done GREAT! She helps out with every prescribed need for daily care and finds extra things to do when we are settled into our daily routine. -
We had to try a couple different workers until FirstLight sent Chuck Fitchen to help us. He is definitely an asset to your company and to the Lampke family. He is very accommodating to our needs. Hope he will stay around.
