After my mastectomy, I was truly blessed to have Jamie Ray as my caregiver. From the very beginning, she was thoughtful, attentive, and well-prepared. She had clearly taken the time to study my doctor’s care plan, which gave me great confidence … More that I was in good hands during my recovery.
One of the most helpful things she did was assist me with managing my medications. She helped me set up reminder timers on my phone and created a simple note where I could record each dose and the time I took it. This made it so much easier to stay organized and ensured I never missed a dose. It brought me real peace of mind knowing everything was being carefully tracked.
Jamie also patiently showed me how to care for my drains and taught me how to empty them properly, which was something I had been quite nervous about at first.
I truly could not have asked for a more caring, capable, and dedicated person to help me through this time. She made my recovery far easier and more comfortable than I ever expected, and I will always be grateful for her kindness and support.
I would definitely recommend this company. -

Ryan answered and was incredibly … More kind and understanding. Because of our circumstances, they went out of their way to set up a consultation for the very next day, on a Sunday.
Ariel and Jamie came to our home and were amazing. They gave us practical advice on how to make the house safer and easier for my mom to navigate. Ariel even demonstrated how my mom could safely transfer herself, and had her practice while they supervised. Seeing that she could do it safely gave my mom so much more confidence.
They also walked us through the additional services FirstLight offers that aren't typically covered by basic insurance and helped us understand what options we actually have. They shared personal experiences, made my mom feel comfortable, and gave us so many practical recommendations. Most importantly, she listened to them!
We went from feeling completely overwhelmed to feeling like we had a much better plan. I'm incredibly grateful to Ryan, Ariel, and Jamie for taking the time to help our family, especially on a weekend. I would highly recommend FirstLight Home Care to anyone trying to navigate caring for a loved one. -
