The Roseville FirstLight team have been absolute lifsavers for our family. We started with 12 hours per week in-home care for my Dad, then he had a major health incident. I called them at 2pm on a Sunday in a panic saying we needed to … More arrange 24-hour in-home care as quickly as possible and at least for the following week. They managed to have someone come out by 8pm that same night at which point they also had 24-hour coverage scheduled for the rest of the week. If we weren't moving my Dad to the Bay Area, we would absolutely continue to work with this team. What I did not know is that these call centers just disburse your info to several agencies and you are bombarded with calls from different home care agencies. … More It’s overwhelming and when I had enough, I answered one more call and it was FirstLight and spoke with Aileen. Wow, she was so polite and apologized that I was bombarded with these phone calls. She was very understanding and just listened to my needs, the needs for my mom and she just understood what I was going through. She was the only one that wasn’t pushy or being a ‘car salesman’ in regards to my mom’s care needs. While we went a different direction with my mom, I just wanted to let people know that there are some people out there esp at this company that truly still care and have compassion for what others are going through. -

We absolutely love Tresha as a companion for my mother and my sister who was at home on hospice. She is so professional, warm, kind and knowledgable about the care they both required. Sophia and Michel a really good worker. My puppy dog gets along very well with both of them. Michele helps me to odds and ends help like cleaning my smoker watering cooking they both help me with my exercise and just helping any way I ask. They both are ten stars or more to me. Sarah has been wonderful in the care of my daughter. She spends four hours with us and takes responsibility for getting my daughter up and ready each day. She takes care hygiene, dressing and preparing breakfast and lunch. She is alert to the need to get laundry done, has changed the bed linens and wages any dishes in the counter when she’s here. I was very pleased to have Brandi and Gia as caregivers for my husband. I was hurt and couldn’t deal with him and chores. Brandi and Gia did a great job taking care of a man who didn’t like someone with hm. Thank you
My husbands caregiver MaLayah Luckett, he is very happy with her. He looks forward to seeing her every tuesday and friday. she goes out her way to do things for my husband, it takes the stress off of me knowing that he is happy with his care and there’s no need to worry. I can run my errands knowing he is in good hands.

Melody (Mel) has been woking at our home about a month now and we feel like an “angel” has been sent to us. She is professional, personable, very hardworking and has such a pleasant demeanor. She has helped us tremendously with yard work, cleaning, organizing, and preparing and making us delicious and healthy meals. She just jumps right in to help with anything we need.
She has a wide range of knowledge in caring for elderly people and the couple of times my husband, who is a disabled veteran, had a medical issue, she instinctively knew how to calm him and help him through the situation.
Another plus is that she loves animals, and our dog Cooper instantly took to her! 🙂
We would totally recommend her to anyone seeking a caregiver!

Cynthia Frazier does a wonderful job with her duties and performances with Peter. She is prompt and on time and goes behind the expectations while she is here. Angel is the best caregiver my wife has ever had. She is conscientious, dedicated, kind and generous. Often takes care of things without even being asked. She takes very good care of my wife.
Shalita, Angel, and Michelle have gone above and beyond for my father who suffers from Parkinson’s. As a full time student, their work has allowed me to have the time and energy to pursue my degree while simultaneously helping my father through his difficult health journey. In fact, I am a better help to my father now because the caretakers at First Light have allowed me the time to take care of myself as well.

We absolutely love Tresha as a companion for my mother and my sister who was at home on hospice. She is so professional, warm, kind and knowledgable about the care they both required. She helps around the house doing chores and activities with my mom, takes her to the grocery store, appointments, and even out to lunch. She has been an absolute blessing during this difficult time in our lives.
Alyssa has been a lovely addition to our home! We see her weekly and look forward to her visits. We enjoy her presence and appreciate her help in our lives and home.

Amber Hermosillo worked for us last Jan 7, 2024. This was her first time with us, but it felt as if she was a regular staff. She was very quick to follow our daily tasks and would always ask the staff is they needed any help. We would definitely ask for her again.
I am so pleased with the care that my mother is receiving with Joni from First Light Home Care. My mother has Alzheimer’s. It has been hard to watch her decline, but Joni makes my mother feel at ease, treats her with love, care, and respect! The company is by far the best agency that we have dealt with for my Mom! Sophia and Michel a really good worker. My puppy dog gets along very well with both of them. Excited to see them when they show up she thinks they’re coming to for her Sophia help me take my puppy dog on walks through the park in the neighborhood. Michele helps me to odds and ends help like cleaning my smoker watering cooking they both help me with my exercise and just helping any way I ask. They both are ten stars or more to me. I’m very glad to have them working with me
Sarah has been wonderful in the care of my daughter. She spends four hours with us and takes responsibility for getting my daughter up and ready each day. She takes care hygiene, dressing and preparing breakfast and lunch. She is alert to the need to get laundry done, has changed the bed linens and wages any dishes in the counter when she’s here.
