Families deserve to know that their loved ones are being taken care of with the same care and compassion that they, themselves, would provide to their loved ones. That is exactly why Eric Friedrich and Mary Ellyse Fendig decided to join the non-medical home care community… to do just that. Both natives of St. Simons Island, Eric has partnered with Mary Ellyse Fendig to share a passion and love for Coastal Georgia and its seniors that is carried out in every aspect of FirstLight Home Care of Brunswick.

St. Simons native Eric W. Friedrich ll is a graduate of The University of Georgia where he received a Bachelors in Business Management from the Terry College of Business. After College, Eric served as an intelligence officer in the United States Air Force for 6 years before separating from active duty in 2014 to take on the challenges of opening his own business. Today, Eric still proudly serves as an intelligence officer in the Air Force Reserves.

Our home care team is passionate about bringing a new level of service to the in-home care industry of Southeast GA. Many people we encounter are unaware of their options and the resources that are available to them today. We want to be a community resource bringing FirstLight’s exceptional care to our area.

We bring a wealth of experience managing and delivering on time, as promised. Through FirstLight’s Culture of Care, commitment to training and the equipping of our caregivers, we’re proud to offer Exceptional Care through our Extraordinary People.
