Stacey Mora, Psy.D., Director of Client Care

Stacey Mora earned her Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology in 1998 from the California School of Professional Psychology–Los Angeles, specializing in the treatment of individuals, families, and children. As FirstLight’s Director of Client Care, she brings both her clinical expertise and personal experience to the families she serves. Stacey has found that the most effective way to support clients and their loved ones is through a Family Systems approach—an approach that allows her to see and meet the needs not only of the client, but also of the primary caregiver and family as a whole. Her advanced training guides the way she assesses each client’s unique situation and facilitates a seamless beginning—and ongoing relationship—with FirstLight. Stacey is committed to meeting every client where they are, offering both insight and compassion to help them embrace Home Care with confidence and peace of mind.

Stacey’s dedication to this work is deeply personal. Her father, who lived with Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) for 23 years, was her hero and left an indelible mark on her heart. She understands firsthand the profound meaning of “the long goodbye.” In addition, when her mother faced unforeseen health challenges, FirstLight’s caregivers stepped in to provide care—giving Stacey the priceless gift of more quality time with her Mom. These personal experiences have fueled her passion for ensuring that every family feels supported, understood, and cared for.

Outside of her professional life, Stacey loves traveling with her best friend and life partner, Chad—especially their twice-yearly visits to Nelson, British Columbia, a place they love for its beauty, charm, and the chance it gives them to slow down and recharge. At home, their Golden Retriever, Walter, keeps them active and brings constant joy with his playful, affectionate spirit.

Amber McIlreavy, Director of Caregiver Relations

Before joining FirstLight, Amber worked in the CNA field at North Idaho Advanced Care Hospital. She joined the FirstLight team as a caregiver. When an opportunity became available, she joined the office staff as a Care Coordinator overseeing caregiver retention. Through her creativity, compassion, and dedication to our values, she was promoted to our Director of Caregiver Relations.

Throughout her career, Amber has had a lot of upper level management experience overseeing both managers, employees and their operations. Her passion lies in teaching others how to become their best selves using their individualized strengths. In fact, her childhood ambition was to become an 11th grade English Teacher!

Amber is married to Evan and has three children: Isabella, Sterling, and Emily. As a family they really enjoy the outdoors including hunting, fishing, and hiking. Amber loves to learn new things and utilize her creative side whenever possible. She plays the violin, loves writing, and believes that family always comes above all else.

Brad Leggat, Co-Owner, Chief Relationship Officer

Brad is a dedicated and passionate co-owner and Chief Relationship Officer at FirstLight Home Care. With a robust background in business, Brad previously founded a thriving insurance enterprise in Hayden, Idaho. His entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to excellence earned him recognition as a recipient of the North Idaho Business Journal’s 40 under 40 award.

Brad’s commitment to quality home care services stems from personal experience. Having navigated the challenges of home care for his Veteran father and mother, he deeply understands the necessity for compassionate and reliable caregivers. This personal journey fuels his mission to ensure every client receives personalized, empathetic care.

Brad holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Sales from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. During his time at Weber State, he played quarterback and attributes much of his business success and leadership skills to the lessons learned on the football field. It was also at Weber State where he met his wife Jenna, a local from Hayden Lake, Idaho, who played volleyball for the university.

As a devoted husband and father, Brad has been happily married to Jenna for 19 years. Together, they are raising three wonderful children: Van, 14; Phoebe, 11; and Grey, 7. Brad enjoys watching his son Van perform, as he is an aspiring actor, singer, and dancer.

Outside of work, Brad stays active and engaged in his community. He enjoys “trying” his hand at golf and is actively involved in coaching sports. He coaches Phoebe’s North Idaho Ice basketball team and Grey’s flag football team. Brad also loves to challenge himself with CrossFit, embracing the incredible culture at Wildland CrossFit in Dalton Gardens, Idaho.

At FirstLight Home Care, Brad is unwavering in his dedication to providing the best possible care for every client. He recognizes the uniqueness of each client’s needs and is committed to crafting personalized care plans with his team. His approach ensures that clients receive the tailored support they deserve.

Matt Zastrow, Co-Owner

Matt’s first venture into business ownership was in his early 20’s with an investment from his grandparents. Since then, he has gone on to open 9 businesses across several different industries. He has opened businesses in Nevada, Oregon, Arizona, Canada and Idaho.

In 2019, Home Care was introduced to him and he found that it was a perfect fit. He diligently searched out the company that aligned with his values and he found that in FirstLight. Simultaneously, his grandmother was receiving 24/7 in home care which allowed her to stay where she wanted to be (at home) rather than go into a facility. She was able to stay home until the end of her life at 98 years old, because of the help from amazing caregivers.

Each day as care is provided to so many through FirstLight, it reminds him of his grandparents. It is a beautiful way to honor their memory and the impact they had on his life.

In his free time Matt enjoys spending time with his children doing anything and everything active, especially boating, any sport that involves a ball and riding their bikes around town.

Jennifer Vest, Billing & Payroll Specialist

Jennifer earned a bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing and Information Design from Brigham Young University in 1999. Throughout her career, she has held many jobs using the organizational skills she learned as a Technical Writer. Her passion lies in designing information, and has used those skills in both volunteer work, and her career. One of her greatest achievements was helping open Hayden Canyon Charter as a member of their founding board. More recently, she assisted in writing and promoting a book called “rePURPOSE Your Mind.” In January of 2021 she wanted a job where she could give back to the community, so she joined the FirstLight team as a caregiver. Three months later, she joined the office staff as the Scheduler.

Jennifer is married to Jason and has 2 adult children, Robyn and Lawson. Her family also has four “adopted” Foreign Exchange Students, including: Oline from Norway, Nemo from Taiwan, Marco from Italy, and Cedric from Switzerland. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys reading, digital scrapbooking, knitting, hiking, camping, frisbee golf, and traveling.

Hailee Brown, Scheduler

Since she was old enough to work, Hailee has been a caregiver. From the very beginning she assisted in all facets of caregiving, including dementia, transfers, bathing, and brief changes. She worked in various places and with many different clients, including her own family members. What she loves the most about caregiving is being able to help someone who is not able to help themselves. She worked with her last client for three years until she got injured and was no longer able to provide the care her clients needed.

She worked in various jobs, but she really missed caregiving. So in the spring of 2022 she started looking for opportunities that would bring her back to caregiving. When she ran across the job posting as a receptionist and assistant scheduler for FirstLight Home Care she thought it was a perfect fit and perfect timing for her. Having been a caregiver herself, what she loves the most about working for FirstLight is how FirstLight has a caregiver focussed culture, treating their caregivers with respect. Hailee has now been promoted to lead scheduler and enjoys making sure clients and caregivers not only have what they need, but are happy.

Hailee’s world revolves around her daughter. She says they are like two peas in a pod. She loves to laugh and take life in stride. She also enjoys everything about music and concerts. But her favorite thing about life is Halloween. She says her motto is that any day can be Halloween.

Kim Burt, Care Coordinator

As FirstLight Home Care’s Care Coordinator, Kim plays a key role in ensuring continuity of care. From the very first call, she is the warm, caring voice clients can count on, providing consistent follow-through so families feel supported throughout their entire journey with FirstLight. In addition to guiding client care, Kim also manages important administrative duties, keeps the office organized, and coordinates assessments to help ensure every detail runs smoothly.

Kim’s career path has always centered on supporting others and keeping operations running smoothly.

After graduating from Carrington College in 2007, she worked as a Dental Assistant in multiple pediatric dental offices. When she wasn’t cleaning teeth, she worked as a nanny for a wonderful family for almost 10 years until she started having kids of her own. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Kim has called Coeur d’Alene home since 2003.

She and her husband Ben are about to celebrate 18 years of marriage! They stay busy juggling the busy schedules of their 3 kids Brayden (13) Avery (11) and Nora (8).

Outside of work, Kim enjoys baking, thrifting, spending time with her sister, and adventuring with her husband and children.

Fun fact, in 2022, Kim turned her creative passion for photography into a thriving business, capturing everything from professional headshots, families and her personal favorite – Senior portraits. This is a pursuit in which she still continues part-time.
