In-Home Caregiver
Description
FirstLight Home Care is seeking dedicated professionals to join our team. As a FirstLight caregiver, you will provide assistance with activities of daily living to clients in their homes, allowing them to maintain their independence, comfort and dignity, while also supporting their physical, social and emotional needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others and shares the value of positively impacting people’s lives. Are you ready to help our clients have their best day, every day? Position Highlights:
- Provide companionship, personal care, and transportation (client’s car)
- Meal preparation

Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Caregiving experience
- Reasoning abilities: evaluate situations and make complex decisions using critical thinking and reasoning
- Compassionate and communicative nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life
- Reliable and punctual
- Kind, patient and responsible
- Preferred knowledge of dementia care techniques and approaches for effective communication with individuals experiencing memory loss
