Dementia: It’s not a normal part of aging (Swampscott Reporter)
Swampscott, Mass. (April 14, 2016) – So often when we meet with a client’s family for the first time, they’ll tell us their loved one has dementia, but when I ask the question, “Why?,” no one has an answer. Dementia has become a catch-all diagnosis for memory loss related to aging, so when most of us hear the words, “Oh, she’s got dementia,” we leave it at that.
