FirstLight Home Care of Bergen County has been a Godsend to our family. My father had resisted home care for years. We finally made the decision that it had to be done whether he liked it or not. After calling a large health care facility … More in our town and getting the run around, I contacted First Light because they were close to us. Boyd called me immediately asking pertinent questions and answering anything I needed to know. We were able to decide on our schedule what time periods and days we needed someone. Since my Dad served in WWII, Boyd helped us contact the VA and get him extra home care hours paid by them. Louis and office staff always at our disposal. If I leave a message, they get right back to me. Someone also periodically calls me to see if everything is going well or any concerns. Our aide is wonderful. She is caring and goes above and beyond to help my Dad. I know he is in excellent care when we are not there. Could not ask for more. I definitely recommend this particular office of First Light. Best decision we made. Thank you all for caring about my Dad! -

FirstLight Home Care of Bergen County has been a Godsend to our family. My father had resisted home care for years. We finally made the decision that it had to be done whether he liked it or not. After calling a large health care facility in our town and getting the run around, I contacted First Light because they were close to us. Boyd called me immediately asking pertinent questions and answering anything I needed to know. We were able to decide on our schedule what time periods and days we needed someone. Since my Dad served in WWII, Boyd helped us contact the VA and get him extra home care hours paid by them. Louis and office staff always at our disposal. If I leave a message, they get right back to me. Someone also periodically calls me to see if everything is going well or any concerns. Our aide is wonderful. She is caring and goes above and beyond to help my Dad. I know he is in excellent care when we are not there. Could not ask for more. I definitely recommend this particular office of First Light.
