Taylor gave exceptional service while trying to arrange last minute care for my grandmother (during the holiday season). She even came to the hospital on a Sunday to speak with us, and worked with hospice to arrange a smooth transition home. She was attentive to our needs and discussed options we had.

What stood out most wasn’t just the logistics—it was the human touch. Olivia provided not only capable, timely assistance but warm companionship that put my mother at ease right away. On a later return, Nel went above and beyond when unforeseen challenges arose, navigating issues completely outside her control and ensuring my mom was safely settled at home.

Frankie is a miracle worker. This Monday I started a process at my day job to approve caregiving support for my father this week. She stayed with me through what proved to be a bizarre series of administrative twists and turns (this had nothing to do with FirstLight and everything to do with corporate communications channels). Dad was getting frustrated with being in limbo after anticipating help with meal prep and laundry. She saved the day by helping me pivot to direct care and now a caregiver is scheduled to help on Saturday. I spoke with Frankie regarding in home care for my elderly Dad. We had a good conversation and Frankie followed up with a very detailed email outlining all aspects of care and costs. Not gonna lie, home care is expensive but First Light is highly organized and professional in their approach. No hidden fees, everything is explained clearly. Working for this company has been amazing, they work with the caregivers one on one. So it was a no Brainer to choose First Light when I needed care for my mom. I’d say 99% of the time there have been no issues. My mom is one tough ccookie though, she can be difficult at times which is part of the progression of the disease. I’m very grateful for the women who help my mom and myself.
