At FirstLight Home Care of Sunnyvale, we love reading. Books can take you to new places, bring you on adventures, and help you see the world in new ways. They can also bring comfort and joy. Reading helps keep the mind active and the imagination strong.
But for some adults and seniors, getting to the library is not always easy. Health needs or limited mobility can make travel hard. The good news is that many local libraries can bring books right to your home.
For many people, something as simple as getting a new book can make the day feel special. It gives them something to look forward to.
Here are some local programs that help people keep reading from home.
